Welcome to Our Mora!
Welcome to Our Mora! The Mora Arts and Cultural Compound program is a grass roots group that received state designation through New Mexico MainStreet as New Mexico's first Arts and Cultural Compound. We are proud that our small community qualified worthy of designation in such a focused and well intentioned state program. Spend some time on our website and learn more about our Arts & Cultural Compound, the village of Mora and Mora County. We've got lots to offer for the intrepid visitor to this scenic section of the Land of Enchantment!

This is Mora County.
The New Mexico True website says, “Admire the soft contours and warm colors of adobe walls. Breathe in the pungent piñon smoke from a woodstove, mingled with the spicy smell of chile cooking. Watch the bright ribbons of water that flow through green fields. History lies around every bend. The old west lives on. Slow down — there’s a herd of cattle ahead, ambling up the road on its way to summer pasture. Real life adventure awaits the intrepid traveller.” We couldn't have said it better.
