As we fulfill our goal of being a resource page for our community and visitors, we are creating this post to inform you of the changes and challenges that have recently risen.

First the Luna Fire in Mora and surround communities:

The Mora County Sheriff’s office is collaborating with the Red Cross during this time with the Luna Fire. The fire is 0-5 % contained. At this time there is no mandatory evacuations. If you feel you need to voluntary evacuate you can contact either Rumaldo Pino @ 575-643-5475, or Frank Maestas from the Red Cross @ 505-617-5585, & they will help with shelter.
