Welcome to Our Mora!

Welcome to Our Mora! Spend some time on our website and learn more about the village of Mora, and Mora County. We have lots to offer for the intrepid visitor to this scenic section of the Land of Enchantment! This website is brought to you by the Mora Creative Council. The MCC is a local non-profit with the mission of stimulating, preserving, and enhancing Mora, New Mexico through education, historic preservation, creative economy, beautification, and promotion of community and civic pride. We are also an affiliate of Main Street America and New Mexico MainStreet.
This is Mora County.

The New Mexico True website says, “Admire the soft contours and warm colors of adobe walls. Breathe in the pungent piñon smoke from a woodstove, mingled with the spicy smell of chile cooking. Watch the bright ribbons of water that flow through green fields. History lies around every bend. The old west lives on. Slow down — there’s a herd of cattle ahead, ambling up the road on its way to summer pasture. Real life adventure awaits the intrepid traveller.” We couldn't have said it better.
